Steven Lang (pictured top row, Deacon, on far left) and Charles DeReuil (pictured top row, Deacon, on far right) were ordained to the Diaconate conferred by the Imposition of Hands and the Prayer of Ordination on October 2, 2025. The ordaining Prelate at the Ordination Mass was His Excellency Joseph G. Hanefeldt, Bishop of Grand Island. Archbishop Bernard A. Hebda, concelebrated the Ordination Mass.
Deacon DeReuil and Deacon Lang are in seminary formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. God willing, these men, along with their classmates at The Saint Paul Seminary, will be ordained priests of Jesus Christ on May 31, 2025 at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.
